New Permit Approved
NEW PLANT TO TREAT OIL AND GAS LIQUID WASTE COMING TO WASHINGTON COUNTY
Hydro Recovery receives 4th WMGR123 permit to build a facility to provide liquid waste treatment, storage and disposal through recycling for the natural gas industry
Hanover Township, PA – Having operated two successful oil and gas liquid waste treatment facilities for several years in Tioga County, Northeast Pennsylvania; Hydro Recovery LP is pleased to announce that it has received a permit and construction has begun on its 3rd facility located in Hanover Township, Washington County in Southwest Pennsylvania.
“When Hydro Recovery first began, its goal was to locate regional facilities throughout the Marcellus Shale formation in order to serve the needs of oil and gas operators while reducing truck transportation and the need for disposal via injection wells,” said Chris Wunz, CEO of Hydro Recovery. “With the construction of our 3rd facility and several sites under consideration to be built, we are achieving our goal.
The new Hydro Recovery –Burgettstown facility located in Hanover Township will be able to store 11 MM gallons of fluids and provide a clean treated brine that the company calls “Hydraulic Stimulation Fluid” or “HSFTM.” The plant will also have a mud facility that will be able to take low and high solids such as drilling fluids, cement water, tank cleanings, frac sand, and transmission fluids.
The facility will be operational in September 2015.
